Blueberries - One Way or Another
I want to make something requiring blueberries. I can't decide whether to go for old-fashioned all American blueberry buckle or its high brow European cousin, clafouti. I'm a sucker for alliteration, and I like the fact that one bakes a buckle in a cast iron skillet. But clafouti ... there's just something about that thick custardy consistency (oh, a little alliteration there, too). And, really, while clafouti sounds high brow, it is nothing more than a simple, rustic French dessert. Buckle? Clafouti? Or should I whip up a blueberry martini and be done with the whole darn debate?

Go with the blueberry muffins.
If I ever get to be President or First Lady of the United States, my personal project will be to stamp out alliteration by forming the American Anti-Alliteration Assocation.
Stick with the Buckle - anything that requires baking in a cast iron skillet HAS to be good....
If anyone can replicate this recipe and make it for me I will mow your grass, wash your car, and name my next cat after you.
If you have fresh blueberries, they go great with Kashi Go Lean Crunch and Dannon Lite Vanilla Yogurt. Great for breakfast and only 4 points per cup on Weight Watchers.
Here's a little quiz: What do these food items have in common? Barley, kamut, sesame seeds.
and bev ... you answered what i suggested was the answer to vivian's quiz. i posed it as a question (kinda like jeopardy) so i can see how that was a tad confusing. you won't be receiving a round trip ticket to the pyramids of giza.
sincerely, ms. cheops.
I will leave the quiz mastering up to you, dear quizmeister.
