Kiss Me, I'm Irish !

I'm posting this a bit ahead of St. Patrick's Day, because I will be reveling in my Irishness on Saturday.  You have the Irish to thank for carbs!  Beer and potatoes.  Without us, Dr. Atkins would never have become a gazillionaire.  Oh yes, and don't forget the whiskey.  My, how we have contributed to the goodness of society.  Lucky Charms. McDonald's.  Maureen O'Hara.  As I write this, I am in Las Vegas -- looking for my pot o' gold.  Let me leave you with a food quote from the most famous Southern Irish woman of our time, Scarlett O'Hara, "As God is my witness, I shall never go hungry again"....and that's no blarney!
